Subtrac
Client: Subtrac Pte. Ltd.
Year: 2026
An AI-powered subscription and recurring spend management platform built within PayTech Neo, combining a natural language conversational interface with an agentic AI layer designed to monitor, recommend, and act autonomously on recurring spend. A dual-audience product serving businesses and their banks.

The subscription problem is hiding in plain sight. Most businesses have a reasonable handle on their large, fixed costs. What they consistently lose track of is the accumulation of smaller recurring ones: SaaS tools added by different teams, utilities renewed automatically, services that outlived their usefulness but never got cancelled. Over 80% of companies struggle to track their recurring subscriptions accurately, and the cost of that blind spot adds up faster than anyone expects.
Subtrac was designed to fix that, with an approach that goes well beyond a better dashboard.
Conversational by Design
Most spend management tools present data and leave the user to draw conclusions. Subtrac was built around a natural language interface that lets users query, manage, and act on their subscriptions through conversation. Ask what you are spending on design tools across teams. Ask which subscriptions have not been used in 90 days. Ask what would happen to the monthly cost if you consolidated three overlapping services. The platform answers, and acts.
The traditional dashboard sits alongside the conversational interface for users who prefer it, but the direction of travel is clear: the most powerful interactions happen in natural language.
The Agentic Layer
The more ambitious part of the product design is the agentic AI layer. Rather than waiting for a user to ask a question, the agent monitors subscription and spending patterns continuously, identifies waste, flags unusual transactions, and surfaces recommendations proactively. It does not just report what is happening. It tells you what to do about it, and can act on approved instructions without requiring manual intervention at every step.
This shifts Subtrac from a reporting tool into something closer to an autonomous financial operations layer for recurring spend.
The Platform
Underneath the interface, the platform consolidates all recurring costs into a single view, issues virtual cards for specific subscriptions to enforce control and reduce fraud exposure, integrates with existing accounting and ERP systems for automated reconciliation, and ensures purchases stay within policy compliance workflows.
The dual-audience design serves both businesses and their banks. For businesses, it is spend control and visibility. For banks, it is a value-added service that deepens business banking relationships and generates new revenue through card usage and transaction fees.
